For as long as i can remember I’ve always said I’ll work in video and TV and/or be a Mom.
I accomplished part 1. I've worked in Television for over 10 years now as a Writer/Producer and Edit Supervisor. I’ve interviewed and worked with countless celebrities. I’ve been in the edit bay hundreds of hours. I’ve been on too many tv shoots to count!
I’m working on part 2, the mom part, currently. Its the most exciting and most beautiful thing I’ve been a part of yet. We are welcoming a little boy and it has been the most wonderful roller coaster. We’ve documented along the way and its been fun to be on the other side of the lens. It has made me realize capturing this time in life is truly meaningful and important!!
Showcasing stories is what I focus on in my work. It's what makes me LOVE video and photography. I love hearing from and seeing real people, in real situations. I get to document what typically is held as memory.
I went to college at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where I focused on Video Production and Media as my Major. I spent a lot of time in the edit bay and on shoots. I was a photographer and writer on the school newspaper, as I was there before they had a news station!
After college, I have traveled to China to document through video, the education system. What an experience! I interviewed teachers and students from Beijing, as well as the teachers I was traveling with.
Present Day? A few years ago I fell in love with capturing new little babies and then the little babies turning into toddlers celebrating their first year! It's so fun to watch the little ones giggle as we play and end up with real life moments snapped to be forever memorialized.
Personal side notes.. I'm obsessed with my pups, absolutely insist on laughing A LOT, love the outdoors and am probably more nostalgic than most people you'll meet!
