My name is Jessica Wilson, I began my doula journey in the fall of 2016 when I started my training with Birth Arts International. I've been interested in birth and women's health since I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) in 2010. I started researching infertility and everything that comes with it. In 2014 I welcomed my first born son in a typical, intervention filled hospital birth. After his birth I knew I wanted to find a better way to do things the next time around. This led me into the wonderful world of midwives, doulas, crunchy mamas, and so much more. In 2016 I became pregnant with my second son and that's when I felt the calling to become a birth doula. I want my clients to feel loved, supported, nurtured, and fully informed as I did during my second pregnancy.
