Dr. Nicole Barton is originally from Chicago, IL but has spent several years residing in Orlando, FL with her immediate family. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus in September of 2016 with being nominated by her mentor for clinical excellence.
Before enrolling at Palmer, Nicole previously worked as a nurse at a pediatric hospital and within emergency medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr. Barton also practiced as a massage therapist in the greater Orlando area.
To further develop her passion, she attended training to become a Birth Doula through DONA international to further assist women during pregnancy and labor. Dr. Barton is currently completing her diplomate in prenatal and pediatric care with the ICPA which focuses on array of pediatric problems and concerns from neurological deficits to cranial abnormalities. Dr. Barton is currently Webster certified to assist pregnant woman in obtaining optimal function during pregnancy. Through her work experience she has witnessed both illness and wellness care for children. She became passionate about chiropractic after a back injury while working at the hospital that almost left her unable to obtain any quality of life. From then on she has spread her passion about the amazing influence chiropractic care can have on anyone! Dr Barton is extremely passionate about a holistic approach to health and enjoys any opportunity to educate others!
Nicole is very active in the birth community and values the care of pregnant women and children.
