Since I began as a Hypnobabies Instructor and doula in 2009, I have added many skills and techniques such as acupressure, rebozo, optimal fetal positioning and more that are sometimes helpful in making birth more efficient and more comfortable. I love sharing information I am passionate about. I have been told that I have a calming presence and am a skilled communicator. This extends beyond supporting students and clients and includes other birth professionals and their success. I am the co-founder of Atlanta Doula Collaborative which is a membership based group that offers mentorship and support to fellow birth professionals while elevating our profession and growing successful businesses with caring and thoughtful guidance.
My days (and nights) are filled with fulfilling my dreams of being a small business owner making a difference in the community and taking care of my family and home. My husband and I are Baltimore transplants and now live in Lawrenceville with our 2 children. I love to travel and eat great food, enjoy singing and dancing, think of myself as pretty darn funny and I am all about the 'green' lifestyle. I am currently the Vice President of the Ladies Homestead Gathering South Gwinnett chapter and love organizing monthly gatherings for like minded women.
